Almost Heaven, West Virginia

In the heart of Appalachia, SERV works alongside families in some of the most economically challenged counties of West Virginia.  Working alongside the Almost Heaven Habitat for Humanity,  volunteers help with home repairs, community cleanups, and youth programs while learning about the resilience of Appalachian culture. The work not only meets immediate needs but also strengthens dignity and pride in communities that have faced generations of hardship.
